Project Maverick received 2nd Place at the 2016 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair in the category of Engineering Mechanics. It also received recognition from the International Council of System Engineers (INCOSE) through their $1500 scholarship award.

Project Maverick will be competing at the 2016 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) in Phoenix, Arizona, and California State Science Fair in Los Angeles, California.

A new ZX gesture sensor from Sparkfun has been successfully tested and is getting ready to be implemented into Project Maverick's Autopilot System. This will allow Maverick to quickly and efficiently find obstacles and doorways before encountering them.
